Prime Number

Rock You Can Dance To!

Look Ma! We’re on TV!

True! Prime Number is in a new reality TV series called Startup Junkies! You can see us in Episode 3, which is currently being screened online.

Paul, guitarist with Prime Number, is also by day the VP Engineering at Earth Class Mail, a startup that lets you get your postal mail online. They have some serious plans for global domination! Startup Junkies! follows the progress of the company from early funding struggles, product development problems, immovable deadlines, staff terminations, trying to win new customers, and going for the ‘big one’… getting major international Post Office interest. So when Earth Class Mail wanted to put on a big celebration party, you just knew they had to call on us for the musical entertainment!

It’s not quite how we thought we’d end up famous, but we’ll take it! Hopefullly, we’ll have some more footage we can stream directly from here soon.

Gigs are OFF until Scott’s throat recovers!

Sorry y’all… Scott, our illustrious vocalist and Stick player has a problem with his throat. Specialist has him on meds and rest for the next couple of weeks at least, and then we’ll see what we’re up for.  Seeing as Scott is the lead vocal on at least two-thirds of our cover tracks,  we’re out of action on that front.  So the March 14th gig at Cider Mill is definitely off.  We’re still planning on being back at the Cider Mill on June 20th 2008.  And we’re keeping our fingers crossed for an opening at the White Eagle soon.

We’ll be back soon, meanwhile Scott gets some throat rest!

Sorry – this is a private event, but it will be a lot of fun all round. We get to hit the small screen airing on a new reality series sometime early in the new year. Yes, we have links to the company involved, but it’s never ‘what you know’, right?

Reed College Renn Fayre! April 28th, 2pm to 4pm

Ok… so you might not be a Reed College Alum… but Scott Schurr, our intrepid Stick player and vocalist IS!! I think you need to be an alumni or a registered guest to get in, or if you are determined, crashing is always a possibility…

We’re taking it easy, as Rick The Drums had a hospital case earlier in the year, but reckon we’ll be back in full swing pretty dang soon!

Thanks for all your support, and see you soon,

CANCELED… Feb 2nd at Cider is OFF

Due to an administrative mix-up at the Cider Mill, we will not be there on Feb 2nd.  Sorry about that.  We were supposed to be booked for Feb 2nd, and June 1st, and for some reason, only June 1st stuck on the booking sheet.  Too bad.  Watch this space… we’re going to shoot for a more outrageous gig at the Ash St. Saloon in downtown Portland… time to trot out those originals and go down in flames!! But it will be fun.
